Fear of movement is often invisible from the outside, yet it can shape someone’s daily life in profound ways. For a person living with pain, past injury, or trauma, the idea of moving freely may carry an undercurrent of threat. This isn’t just hesitation—it’s a physiological response. I am sharing my story of developing the issue during my Alexander Technique training course and current views and hopes for moving forward.
